Surviving Infant and Child Loss
In the words of Mysti Reutlinger, “Losing my firstborn son to SIDS was more than the greatest loss of my life, it ripped me to the core of who I thought I was and forced me to rebuild my life uncertain about everything I had ever known. His death was more than a loss of life, I lost all ability to hope and dream for the future.” Her personal struggle of complicated grief, deep depression, and PTSD as a result of that loss has inspired her to work with other parents in the same position.
