Business Legal and PR Statement Concerning the Current and Future Availability of ‘Our Stories of Strength – Living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome’ and Other Critical Business & Community-related Updates
“I was deeply disappointed and saddened to read the public post on the Our Stories of Strength page, appearing on October 26, 2015. I did not write this statement; nor do I agree with it.
As a result of various ill-advised actions, my access to the three business pages associated with Our Stories of Strength was blocked at the beginning of September 2015, two of which pages were of my own design and creation. The blocking of these pages, and other tactics, were based on misguided and false accusations, an attempt to damage my livelihood, and tantamount to bullying, all of which I can no longer accept. As a result of such blocking, I now am forced to make this statement via my Facebook personal page.
Yesterday’s statement so clearly omits the extensive contribution I have made to building the Our Stories of Strength brand, and the passion that I’ve had for its mission since the moment it was dreamed up in summer of 2014.
It is unprofessional and inappropriate to publicly air grievances and, similarly, I feel that at this time it is not appropriate for me to further speak publicly about this situation. Doing so would only distract our supporters from the very important message of Our Stories of Strength.
It has been my goal in these past few months, to resolve these professional differences privately, and I will continue to move forward with the same intention.
If you continue to see postings similar in nature to the October 26th statement, I urge to please disregard.
I remain unaffected by the unfortunate events and I am committed to the original mission of Our Stories of Strength, which is to publish good news stories of strength, determination and perseverance, while living with a chronic, and often invisible illness. And a single message to those who believe in the important purpose of Our Stories of Strength — you are not alone.
